Guidelines for Submitting Requests to the RRC Thoracic Surgery for Tracking Modifications


The following information must be submitted:
  1. A narrative statement describing the proposal, including the proposed date of implementation;
  2. the educational rationale and the goals and objectives for each track;
  3. a current block diagram and a proposed block diagram;
  4. address all citations that were identified at the last site visit;
  5. a letter of support from the DIO; and
  6. the current residents’ operative statistics to support the request.

PLEASE NOTE: tracking requests are to be submitted only for those programs that wish to be so identified. This activity is NOT required for compliance with the new operative experience guidelines effective for graduates admitted July 1, 2007.
