Norman Otsuka, MD, MSc, FRCSC, FAAP, FACS, FAOA

Norman Y. Otsuka, MD is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon who attended medical school at McMaster University, completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Toronto, and completed a fellowship at the Boston Children's Hospital. He has held faculty appointments at the University of California, San Francisco; University of California, Los Angeles; New York University; and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Otsuka has served on the Boards of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons; United States Bone and Joint Initiative; and Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.

As a leader in academics and education, Dr. Otsuka has served as Chair, Section of Orthopaedics, American Academy of Pediatrics; and has been nominated to be Chair, Education Assessments and Evaluation Committee of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has also served on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics, Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics, Part B, Journal of Children's Orthopaedics, American Journal of Orthopaedics, and the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Otsuka is committed to medical education at many levels nationally and internationally.
