Mark Kavinsky joined the ACGME in 2021 as the M365 Enterprise Manager and became the Vice President, IT Infrastructure and Operations in March 2025. He has nearly 30 years of experience in IT, with extensive experience in designing engineering solutions across diverse industries, including banking and finance, health care, academia, utilities, manufacturing, and government. Mr. Kavinsky has held roles such as systems engineer and cloud architect and has served in various leadership positions. He also previously owned and operated his own IT consulting firm, bringing strategic solutions to businesses of all sizes and aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals and developing strategic roadmaps.

Mr. Kavinsky is also well aligned and versed with planning, developing, and implementing sound security solutions and strengthening security posture in an organization. He has assembled and developed strong IT teams and fosters a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. Over the past decade, Mr. Kavinsky has performed numerous digital transformations and adoption into the Azure/M365 cloud. He thoroughly enjoys the technology landscape and new innovative solutions.

Beyond his professional life, Mr. Kavinsky is passionate about travel, especially to Mexico and the Caribbean. He is also a classically trained pianist and has a love for music and concerts. He enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time at the beach, and pursuing his health and fitness, having competed in bodybuilding and working as a trainer.

Mr. Kavinsky is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and now splits his time between Cleveland and Tampa, Florida. He is the proud father of four and also the stepfather of two, with his wife, Kim.
