The ACGME offers a variety of courses, workshops, and resources designed to assist faculty members in developing skills in competency-based medical education. Courses are offered for all experience levels in a variety of formats throughout the year, online, and in locations throughout the US and around the world.
Courses and resources include:
- ACGME-led courses held virtually or in Chicago, Illinois, covering topics such as assessment, direct observation, feedback, remediation/working with struggling learners, and group process/decision making
- Faculty Development Hub courses, offered at institutions/organizations across the US and the world, incorporating content from ACGME-led courses in scaled-down formats tailored to local contexts
- The Clinician Educator Milestones, an optional resource for clinician educators to use as a guide in their own professional development
- The Clinician Educator Journal Club, a monthly opportunity for clinician educators to hear directly from the authors of articles that tie to the Clinician Educator Milestones
- Toolkits, open-access assessment tools, and more
