The new Clinician Educator Milestones are designed to aid in the development and improvement of teaching competence by assessing educational skills of faculty members across the continuum of medical education. They were introduced and contextualized in a session at the 2022 ACGME Annual Educational Conference.

The ACGME welcomed attendees back to the first in-person Annual Educational Conference since 2020. Thursday featured multiple Full-Day Courses, tailored to specific roles and functions in GME, a networking event for coordinators, a reception for residents and fellows, the annual Marvin R. Dunn Welcoming Poster Reception and Exhibitor Kick-Off, and a celebratory dinner for awardees.

2023 GME Institutional Coordinator Excellence Awardee Leslie Caulder, MSML, C-TAGME, is the director, education and training programs, in the GME office at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville.
