The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) has released a video featuring ACGME President and CEO Thomas J. Nasca, MD, MACP, AAMC President and CEO Darrell G. Kirch, MD, and National Academy of Medicine President Victor J. Dzau, MD.

This edition of the ACGME's e-Communication includes information on ACGME Board actions, the new Emergency and Non-Emergency Category designations for programs dealing with an influx of COVID-19 patients, calls for resident and public members for Review Committees, and more.

The ACGME this week again presented awards at its Annual Educational Conference, recognizing noteworthy achievements from a wide range of talented graduate medical education professionals. The awards included 26 individuals and three institutions.

The ACGME is assisting the residents and fellows displaced by the impending Hahnemann University Hospital (HUH) closure by compiling available positions; communicating with HUH regarding ACGME policy, arranging for the timely transfer of residents/fellows; and making filings with the bankruptcy court.
