The ACGME invoked its Extraordinary Circumstances Policy (ACGME Policies and Procedures, Section 21.00) following the closure announcement for Ohio Valley Medical Center (OVMC), a participating site for ACGME-accredited residency programs.
William A. McDade, MD, PhD has joined the ACGME as its Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. He will lead diversity and inclusion activities focusing on national initiatives to include underrepresented groups in the medical education continuum.
