2022 Parker J. Palmer Courage to Lead Awardee Dr. Mark C. Wilson is the associate dean and associate hospital director for GME at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.

For more than two years, the COVID-19 pandemic fundamentally changed how every person on the globe works, plays, and interacts with each other. As what many hoped would be a few weeks of fear and uncertainty stretched into months and months, no one felt this stress more than health care professionals on the frontlines.

2022 David C. Leach Awardee Anai Kothari, MD is an assistant professor in surgical oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. At the time of the award nominations, Dr. Kothari was a clinical fellow in complex general surgical oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

2022 Parker J. Palmer Courage to Teach Awardee Dr. Sachin Kedar is a professor of ophthalmology and neurology and the vice chair for education at the Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Kedar specializes in neuro-ophthalmology.

2022 Debra L. Dooley GME Program Coordinator Excellence Awardee Skyler Kiddy, MS, works as the program coordinator for the pediatrics program at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium of Oklahoma.
