The ACGME would like to congratulate Drs. Kenechukwu Ojukwu (Project Leader) and Erica Fermon, the Back to Bedside project team from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) David Geffen School of Medicine/UCLA Medical Center, winners of this year’s “Shark Tank”-style competition at the 2024 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, held March 7-9 in Orlando, Florida.

The ACGME is proud to announce the release of the latest edition of its annual Data Resource Book. This comprehensive resource provides the graduate medical education (GME) community and the public with the latest GME data covering the period from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.

This inaugural day aims to unite national and institutional leaders, policymakers, patients, communities, and health workers across professions. It is sponsored by the National Academy of Medicine Collaborative, co-chaired by President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Thomas Nasca.

The ACGME, Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), and the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) are requesting your input on a second draft of the Foundational Competencies for Undergraduate Medical Education.

The ACGME is excited and proud to introduce a redesign of the ACGME website. The updated site features an improved overall design, an enhanced user experience, a better interface, and a modern look and feel. While most of the content has not changed, the navigation and placement of some of the content has. This update and orientation are intended to help users understand what went into and informed this redesign, and how to move around it and find what you’re looking for.

Recognizing the need for a structured approach to remediation, the ACGME has introduced the Remediation Toolkit, a dynamic resource to help with assessing and remediating struggling learners, underlying clinical performance issues, and successful remediation programs.

The ACGME is pleased to present findings and resources from the Summit on Medical Education in Nutrition in collaboration with the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine and the Association of American Medical Colleges.
