ACGME Supports Hahnemann Residents in New Court Filing

On July 15, 2019, the ACGME requested that the United States Bankruptcy Court require Hahnemann University Hospital to provide for orderly and expeditious transfer of all residents and fellows to programs of their choosing. (Updated July 16, 2019.)

ACGME Releases CLER Findings for Operative and Procedural Areas
The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) is pleased to present the Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) Report of Findings 2021: Subprotocol for Operative and Procedural Areas. The CLER Program provides leaders of hospitals, medical centers, and other clinical settings with formative feedback through site visits that explore six Focus Areas: Patient Safety; Health Care Quality; Care Transitions; Supervision; Well-Being; and Professionalism.

Gender-Specific Challenges in Burnout, a session led by speakers Carol Bernstein, MD and Kimberly Templeton, MD, explored a variety of factors that contribute specifically to the risk of burnout and differences between what men and women face in this arena.
