The ACGME is issuing supplemental guidance regarding how a Sponsoring Institution’s days in Emergency Category status will be counted; protection of resident, fellow, and faculty member health and safety; and assessment of residents and fellows.

The ACGME has announced its Request for Grant Proposals for the 2024-2026 cycle of Back to Bedside, an initiative designed to empower residents and fellows to lead and develop transformative and innovative projects to foster meaning and joy in their work and increase connection with their patients.

The ACGME this week again presented awards at its Annual Educational Conference, recognizing noteworthy achievements from a wide range of talented graduate medical education professionals. The awards included 26 individuals and three institutions.

Jessica Koran-Scholl, PhD and colleagues presented their work on the impact an obesity bias awareness workshop has on how physicians understand this phenomenon in the Poster Hall at the 2022 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, which was held virtually March 30-April 1, 2022.
