As a resource to the graduate medical education community, the ACGME is sharing the following statement from the AOA regarding COVID-19.

The ACGME issued a statement April 5, 2020 regarding its expectations within the clinical learning environment amidst the shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This statement is updated to include a link to resources on optimizing PPE.

The ACGME has updated its Procedures for Alleged Egregious Events to address how it will rapidly respond to alleged non-compliance with the four prevailing COVID-19 priority requirements, including the addition of a public sanction.

The National Academy of Medicine (NAM)'s Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience will host "Supporting Clinician Well-Being During COVID-19," a 90-minute webinar on Thursday, May 7 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Central.
