Make sure you plan to join us in the Exhibit Hall during the Annual Educational Conference, which will be full of networking opportunities, the chance to learn about the latest innovative products and services in GME, and a number of engaging activities and events. In addition to the exhibiting vendors and promotional opportunities, this year the Exhibit Hall will include the following new spaces and activities…

 

WELCOMING POSTER RECEPTION AND EXHIBITOR KICK-OFF

Of course you’ll want to join friends and colleagues for drinks and appetizers, as we kick off the 2019 Annual Educational Conference at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7 in the Exhibit Hall! The reception will feature 100 posters on topics in accreditation, education, assessment, physician well-being, diversity, the opioid crisis, and innovations in the clinical learning environment, as well as an additional section on the ACGME’s Back to Bedside initiative. The Exhibit Hall itself will include a number of exhibitors promoting educational tools, software, and patient management solutions, as well as job recruiters! Don’t miss it!

 

THE HUB

The NEW ACGME Hub is a space dedicated to bringing attendees together to engage and network!

  • Need to update your professional headshot? The Hub will feature a FREE professional photographer for attendees!
  • Milestones Consultations! The ACGME Milestones group will host their consultations in the Hub this year! Milestones staff members will contact applicable groups with sign-up information.
  • Department Spotlight Section—This year, the ACGME’s Office of Distance Learning will be featured. Stop by and learn about their latest work and upcoming projects, and get access to all current distance learning opportunities!
  • Mobile App Navigation—Having issues changing your schedule or navigating the Conference Mobile App? Stop by the Hub for assistance throughout the conference!
  • Recharge and Relax: Need to recharge or meet up with a colleague? The Hub will have a lounge seating area that includes a charging station.

DISCOVER THE DOC

Lively and Fun are the key descriptors for the # ACGME2019 Exhibit Hall! For example, be sure to participate in the scavenger hunt, Discover the Doc! Clues will be posted daily on the ACGME blog, the Conference Mobile App’s Activity Feed, on Twitter, and in the Exhibit Hall itself to aid attendees in their hunt to locate famous doctor bobble heads hidden among the booths! Find one of that day’s bobble heads and win a $100 Amazon gift card! More information will be available in the Exhibit Hall.

 

CONVERSATION BOARDS

Two Conversation Boards will be up in the ACGME Hub as another way to connect and engage.

 

Board 1: Where Do You Find Meaning in Medicine? We want to hear from you! Write about your own story and share what gives you meaning in medicine. Posts will be displayed for all to view and learn about one another as a GME community and as colleagues.

 

Board 2: Questions for the CEO: Have a burning question for ACGME President and CEO Dr. Thomas Nasca? Be sure to stop by to post them on this board. All submissions will be collected and given to Dr. Nasca to review and before Sunday morning’s Conversations with the CEO session!

 

WELL-BEING STATION

Two massage stations will be set up in the Exhibit Hall during the Welcoming Reception on Thursday evening! Sit back and relax after a long day of pre-conference sessions!
