If you’re joining us in Orlando next week, here’s a quick list of tips and information to know before you arrive! See you soon!

1. Download the ACGME’s Conference Mobile App! You will now manage your conference experience entirely from the app – including your schedule!

To Access the App: Search for “Attendeehub” by CrowdCompass in the Apple or Android App Store. Once you’ve downloaded the app, search for “2019acgme.”

Note: You need to log in to be able to share your contact information, receive alerts, and access the schedule icon.

To log in directly in the app, follow these steps. For assistance with downloading or using the app prior to the conference, e-mail acgmemobilesupport@acgme.org.

And your WiFi is on us! We are pleased to provide all ACGME Conference attendees with complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the Conference Center at the Rosen Shingle Creek.

2. Planning to network? Don’t forget your business cards! And don’t forget to pick up a fun badge ribbon (or several!) at registration to strike up conversation with like-minded attendees and colleagues!

3. Prep for travel. Orlando is sunny and warm, but the Conference Center is typically cold – plan accordingly! Our conference is also business casual.

4. Don’t miss the Welcoming Poster Reception and Exhibitor Kick-Off on Thursday, March 7 at 5:30 p.m.! A free drink ticket is attached to your badge!

5. Looking to update your professional headshot? Be sure to pack your most professional attire and stop by the professional photo booth located in the ACGME Hub in the Exhibit Hall! The photographer will be available at the Welcoming Reception on Thursday night!

6. Learn more about this year’s Keynote Speaker, 19th Surgeon General of the United States Dr. Vivek H. Murthy, and make sure you set your alarm for this truly special session.

7. Participate in sunset yoga or a runner’s club! Join us for a calming sunset yoga session on the terrace at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort on Friday and Saturday evenings at 5:30, or start your day with an invigorating run around the resort! On March 8 and 9, meet your colleagues in the lobby of any Rosen property to head out on a run/walk! These informal groups will plan to leave at 6:00 a.m. More information and routes will be available in the Conference Mobile App. *Weather Permitting*

8. Tag us! Be sure to use the official conference hashtag, #ACGME2019, as well as #MeaningInMedicine, when you’re posting from and about the conference on social media!

9. The Exhibit Hall at #ACGME2019 is going to be lively and full of fun at this year’s conference! Be sure to participate in the scavenger hunt, Discover the Doc! Daily clues posted here on the ACGME Blog, in the Conference Mobile App’s Activity Feed, on the ACGME’s Twitter account, and in the Exhibit Hall itself will aid attendees in their hunt to locate the famous fictional doctor Funko Pop! dolls hidden among the booths! Find one of the day’s Funko Pop! dolls to win a $100 Amazon gift card! More information can be found in the Exhibit Hall and on the Conference Mobile App.

10. And this one's important! Be sure to complete your evaluations! Physicians can receive CME for sessions they attend, and non-physicians can receive a certificate of participation. There are evaluation kiosks on site at the conference, and attendees can even access and complete their evaluations online or through the app!
