At its June 2022 meeting, the ACGME Board of Directors reviewed and approved several specialty- and subspecialty-specific Program Requirements, which were updated over the last year to align with the Board’s requirements for allocation of dedicated time for program leadership, core faculty members, and program coordinators (see July 27, 2021 update). The finalized Program Requirements documents, which become effective July 1, 2022, will be posted on their respective specialty sections of the ACGME website no later than July 1, 2022.
Documents outlining the final dedicated time requirements by specialty/subspecialty are now available on the Institutional Applications and Requirements page of the Designated Institutional Officials section of the website, under the "Selected Topics Across Program Requirements" heading.
