The ACGME, Intealth, and the Medical Council of Canada (MCC) entered into an agreement to enhance post-graduate medical education (PGME) through the development of assessment programs.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) represents a collaborative effort to strengthen workplace-based assessments of physicians through shared learning. This MOU reflects a collective commitment to enhance medical training and physician competency while protecting public health through innovation and collaboration.
Leaders from the three organizations – ACGME President and Chief Executive Officer Debra Weinstein, MD; Intealth President and Chief Executive Officer Eric S. Holmboe, MD; and MCC Chief Executive Officer Viren Naik, MD, MEd, MBA, FRCPC – took part in a signing ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee on February 20, 2025, at the 2025 ACGME Annual Educational Conference.
